Maintenance Process Overview

The maintenance process in the DataPlatform is enabled by the Maintenance Planner, a feature that automates the planning and management of machine maintenance based on telematics data.

It supports OEMs and service organizations in ensuring timely maintenance execution and improving maintenance coverage.

This section provides an overview of how maintenance tasks are triggered and managed using telematics data and DataPlatform capabilities.

Telematics data enables condition-based and usage-based maintenance by providing continuous insight into machine operation.

Maintenance processes rely on OEM-defined maintenance manuals. For Maintenance Planner in the DataPlatform these are translated into digital maintenance catalogs that specify intervals, activities, and required materials for each machine model.

Maintenance tasks are generated based on these definitions and can be managed within the DataPortal or integrated with external ticket systems.
